Patriots of Wellen Park – Frequently Asked Questions
Will the organization participate in Pop Warner or AYF?
The Wellen Park Patriots are launching as an independent youth football & cheer program. We are actively pursuing Pop Warner affiliation and fully intend to join once team formation requirements are met. Our goal is to provide a structured, competitive, and community-focused experience from day one.
What teams will you offer for Fall 2026?
We plan to offer the following football teams:
6U
8U
10U
12U
14U
Cheer teams will be formed based on registration numbers, with an anticipated 3–5 teams ranging from ages 3–15.
Will there be a Jr. Tiny Mite cheer team?
Yes! Building a strong future starts with our youngest athletes. We are excited to offer a Jr. Tiny Mite team (ages 3–5) and grow our program from the ground up.
Where will practices be held?
We understand how important this is for families. We are currently finalizing field and facility partnerships within the Wellen Park area.
Practice will begin as scheduled, and all confirmed locations will be communicated as soon as they are secured.
Where will games be held?
Game locations will vary depending on league affiliation and scheduling. Families can expect a mix of local home and away games within the surrounding region. Full schedules will be shared once finalized.
When is registration?
Registration will open in early March.

Will there be fundraising requirements?
Our goal is to keep the program as affordable as possible. Fundraising opportunities will be offered to help offset costs, but participation will be optional whenever possible.
